Although most of my clients have seen a 5- to 12-pound weight loss during the A Better Weigh to Better Health program, I cannot guarantee results. Since each individual is unique and personally responsible for their actions and behavior, ultimately the results you achieve are up to you. I can only guarantee satisfaction with the program itself.
Many people do see a reduction in their blood sugar levels after participating in the Better Diabetes Control program, but results may vary. While I cannot guarantee a dramatic improvement or reversal of diabetes, I do guarantee your satisfaction with the program. You may cancel at anytime.
If you are not completely satisfied with the program, you may cancel at any time for any reason. Payment for services already rendered are non-refundable.

*Diabetes: Whether your blood sugar levels are in the pre-diabetes range or you have been living with diabetes for years, good nutrition can help you get better control of your health. There is more to lowering blood sugars than just taking a pill or injecting insulin. Improving your metabolic health with diet and lifestyle therapy can help prevent pre-diabetes from becoming type 2 diabetes. And it can also prevent or reduce the dangerous complications that poorly controlled diabetes can cause. Learn more about how you can take charge of your diabetes today.
*Digestive Disorders: If your gut isn’t healthy, you won’t feel your best. Whether you suffer from chronic constipation, diarrhea, gas, bloating, food allergies, IBS, or other conditions; your diet matters for health. Working with a registered dietitian can give you some insight into what may be causing your GI discomfort and how to treat it. If you’re tired of feeling weighed down by your gut issues, contact me and ask how nutrition can help.
*General Nutrition: Ever feel like your body could use a tune-up? Do you feel tired all the time, have difficulty concentrating, have trouble sleeping, feel anxious or depressed or notice other changes in how you feel? A nutrition check-up might be just what you need! Did you know that certain nutrient deficiencies can make it hard for your body to function optimally? A lack of necessary nutrients can lead to lack of energy, brain fog, insomnia, anxiety, and even depression. This can also lead to decreased immune function which will leave you prone to getting sick more easily. If you have a concern that you think nutrition could help improve, sign up for a free consultation. The registered dietitian can listen to your concerns and help you decide if nutrition counseling is right for you.
*Heart Health: Whether you have been diagnosed with high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or a heart condition such as congestive heart failure, talking to a dietitian about dietary changes may be just what the doctor ordered! Diet modifications can help you control these conditions better, whether you are on medication or not.
*Kidney Disease: Whether you have recently been diagnosed with chronic kidney disease or have been living with it for years, one thing is certain, diet can make a difference in preserving kidney function. Whether your kidneys would benefit from lowered blood sugars, lowered blood pressure, or less sodium or potassium in the diet; nutrition counseling can help you understand how diet affects the kidneys. Note: This does not include those already undergoing dialysis. Nutritional needs for dialysis patients are different and need to be closely monitored by a registered dietitian specializing in kidney disease.
*Weight Management: Been struggling to lose weight? Having trouble gaining weight? Whatever the situation, a consultation with a registered dietitian can help you get started on the right path. Contact the dietitian now to get individualized support for your weight management goal.

Additional Information
What to expect during your Initial Nutrition Consultation
Your initial nutrition consultation will create the foundation for meeting your goals. We will discuss your primary nutrition-related concerns and what you hope to accomplish by working with a registered dietitian. We will begin with a full nutrition assessment, which includes a review of your past medical history, current medications, weight trends, lifestyle, food choices, and eating habits. Then we will identify specific goals you would like to accomplish, identify barriers you face to reaching those goals, and collaborate on a plan that works for you! After our initial consultation, you will receive a written protocol with nutrition recommendations (including macro- and micronutrients) customized to you and your particular needs. Other recommendations and resources will be provided as needed.
What to expect at your Follow-up Nutrition Sessions
Pursuing change, especially as it relates to health and wellness, is an ongoing journey. Follow-up sessions give you the continuous support and motivation you need to meet your health and wellness goals. During these sessions, we will assess how you are doing and troubleshoot any obstacles you have encountered since your previous session. Follow-up sessions are also the perfect opportunity to answer any questions and set new goals. Creating lifestyle changes takes time and multiple visits can help you continue to move forward, making you more likely to achieve long-term success!
When it comes to your health, don’t guess – test!
If you’re not feeling up to par, there may be an underlying reason for it. Lab tests (whether from blood, saliva, stool, or urine) can reveal what’s going on inside your body. Whether you just need a nutritional tune-up or a full protocol to address a particular health issue, doing some testing is a great place to start. Ask the dietitian if lab testing is appropriate for you.
Note: Lab tests are not covered by medical insurance. Ask for detailed pricing.
